What is the Endocannabinoid System?
Humans (and animals) have endocannabinoid systems (ECS) with receptors that can specially receive the THC (Delta 8/Delta 9), CBD, and CBN molecules that are found in cannabis. The most widely studied receptors, CB1 and CB2, affect our physiological processing of pain, appetite, memory, and anti-inflammatory responses.
